Day 31 – 40 Days for Life
Feria in Lent
The Return of the Sun. My face was glowing as I went to bed on this day as the bright sunshine baked my face and all of Montreal.
Jos accompanied me for these many sun-filled hours. He had two extensive exchanges with persons sympathetic with the pro-life cause.
At day’s end, a stranger offered me a box meal from the St. Hubert restaurant chain which I promptly gave to Michel, a local homeless man who frequently spends time around the vigil location.
Also, during the last half-hour, I met Eric, a native Albertan. Interested in French during his high school years, he became proficient and moved to Quebec some twelve years ago. We met over pizza, as a couple having purchased several boxes of pizza were distributing slices. Eric and I discussed a variety of social ills beginning with abortion and branching off.
Generally is was a quiet day of prayer covering the full twelve hours by four prayer warriors logging in about fifteen hours of prayer/witnessing.
